We found ourselves in Brooklyn Monday night, celebrating our friend Kylie's birthday. We rarely make it over to Brooklyn which is a shame. It's just right over the bridge from Manhattan, but it sometimes feels so far away. The party was on the roof of a gorgeous apartment building, and the view was amaaaazing. The clouds threatened rain, but the cooler temperatures were a nice change from the balmy grossness we've been experiencing. There was a french bulldog puppy (named Gramercy--such a perfect name!) that just may have stole our attention most of the night. We haven't met many people in the city who have a dog, so we asked her owners a bajillion questions about how they've made it work so far. It definitely seems more challenging than having a dog in suburbs, but look at that face! Heart. Melting.
Hooray for Brooklyn and puppies! And happy birthday Kylie :)
