We were lucky to have nearly all sunny days this year while at the beach. It was a marked difference from our trip last year where we barely saw the sun. There were a couple of afternoon thunderstorms which made for some beautiful rainbows over the water and puddle-jumping-turned-photoshoot. One of the days, the boys stayed on the beach running around in the rain while the girls headed in for a chick flick. The storms were just sparse enough so that we could enjoy the rain and give our skin a much-needed break from the sun. I'm seriously proud that both of us managed to escape without horrendous sunburns. Go team!
