Saturday night Jordan and I decided to head down to the southern tip of Manhattan and bring dinner down to Battery Park. We got there just a little before the sun set and had the least picnic-y meal ever: meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Hey, that's what was on the menu that night, so that's what we had. It was wonderful just sitting by the water watching the sun go down over the Statue of Liberty. (We also talked about how dinky Lady Liberty looks from Manhattan. So tiny!)

We took a walk around Wall Street afterwards and checked in on the Freedom Tower's progress. It's close to being finished! We also spotted the Occupy Wall Street gang. They had their sleeping bags out and looked homeless. That's all I have to report.
