f is for fondue.

F is for fondue

Last weekend we had our f date. One of my birthday goals was to use our fondue pot at least once during the year, so having a fondue was high on my list. It's tradition for my family to have a cheese fondue on Christmas Eve, and a chocolate fondue on New Year's Eve, so it seemed fancy to just have a fondue in the middle of the year. Living large, right? ;) We had a chocolate fondue and dipped marshmallows, pretzels, pineapple, pumpkin bread and bananas in the melted chocolate. Jordan preferred the pretzels and pineapple and I was a huge fan of the pumpkin bread.
Below is the recipe my family uses and it's perfectly rich. It serves probably 6-8 people so we actually dipped a bunch of pretzels afterwards in the leftover chocolate and froze them to snack on later.

P.S. if you don't have a fondue pot, you can just follow the same directions as below and use a pot on your stovetop!
